A Low Mass Boiler with a High Efficiency

Mod Con Commercial Gas Boiler
The Mod Con has up to a 98% thermal efficiency with up to a 5 to 1 turndown. Older gas furnaces may only be using as little as 60% of energy consumed. Heating is the largest energy expense in most homes accounting for 35-50% of annual energy bills in colder parts of the world.

With the Mod Con, up to 98% of the dollar spent on heating is properly used to heat the building. That is real savings! It’s high grade Inconel burner and 316L stainless steel modulating burner allows this unit to provide adequate heating while saving energy and money. The Mod Con is a dual flame sensing unit with reliable spark ignition. It has a heating capacity of up to 6,800,000 Btuh!

Turndown Ratio

5 to 1 Turndown Ratio – Exclusive modulating technology provides ultimate comfort, save fuel by matching comfort levels efficiently and evenlymodconturndown1
Greater Turndown
Reduce operating costs with a higher turndown ratio and reduce short cycling, eliminate fluctuations as the burner monitors conditions, matching fuel consumption to meet demand

The Mod Con has the ability to vent up to 200 ft, offering complete flexibility

Lower, exhaust temperatures, due to high efficiencies, allows for the use of PVC or other plastic venting materials, saving on cost and time

Small Footprint

A sturdy frame and adjustable leveling feet enable units to be double stacked, making it possible to fit a high output heating system within a small space

Effortless serviceability:
service technicians have direct access to components through an easy to remove front cover

Case Study

Save money. Save space:
Replacing five conventional atmospheric boilers with three. Mod Con 94% efficient, modulating condensing units cuts medical facility’s energy usage by 38%. Stackable units take up less than half the space.
