Saved the day – quality of these products is unmatched

I have been installing HTP products distributed by HWP for many years. The quality of these products is unmatched by any other in the industry; very few call backs and if there is a problem the team at HWP is always available to help in any way they can. The field techs and sales team at HWP are very knowledgeable about their products and provide great customer service.

Here’s just one example, it was 8am on a Tuesday morning when I received a phone call from a customer who had a hot water storage tank with a leak in a 50 unit hotel. The hotel was in DePere, WI. The first thing I did was contact HWP to find out if they had any in stock as I knew none of the other wholesalers in my Fox Valley area would have one. I was unsure of the size until I got there and called HWP and gave them the size of the tank. We determined that it was a 350 gallon storage tank and HWP had one that was insulated and would fit through all of the doorways into the room but it was over 2 hours away. It was now 9:15am and the hotel was going to be full that night. By 12:15pm they had delivered into place the new storage tank and removed the existing leaking tank. We were able to get the customer hot water by 4:30 that afternoon. HWP saved the day by their great customer service.

I’ve been leasing with Hot Water Products for many years and for several restaurant locations. I’ve worked with other leasing companies in the past and it’s just easier with HWP. Howard is a man of his word

I came to know Howard and Hot Water Products in the late 1990’s. I was working for a wholesale distributor in Minnesota and Howard was pioneering a new boiler line, the Munchkin. Howard promised inventory levels, tech service that answered their phones, and even after hour calls to his cell phone if necessary. We started purchasing and working with Howard and Hot Water Products and discovered Howard was a man of his word. Even through some product hiccups, Hot Water Products stood behind their products and were very faithful with product support. The times that I needed job site visits or product training, these issues were always met with expediency. If piping layouts were needed they were provided and accurate. Howard and Hot Water Products have been very fair and have gone the extra mile several times. They have never run away from a difficult situation. So for the past twenty years dealing with Hot Water Products it has been comforting to knowing that Hot Water Products will stand behind what they say and are there to help in those sometimes trying situations. Most of all it’s been very nice dealing with the people at Hot Water Products, they are always very friendly, helpful and most of all timely at getting back to you. When asked why I recommend their product lines I always respond “because I know I’m going to get good support”. So I would rate Hot Water Products as a A+ business associate.

I get every piece of equipment and supplies that I possibly can from Hot Water Products. After working with Dan and Derrick Pfeil for over 20 years I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their service is unbeatable! From the product selection, to expert advice, to the fact that they deliver my equipment where I want it and remove the old stuff so I don’t have to! Recently Derrick delivered an emergency replacement water heater at 11PM on a Friday night and waited while we got the old one out so he could take it away. Can’t get that service anywhere else. Great product and great service

The control card in my Munchkin Boiler finally gave up the ghost after 12 years. My local boiler guy was sharp, but had never worked on a Munchkin before. I gave him your guy’s number and the replacement parts came in the next day. I was very impressed that the equipment ran this long without requiring service, that my local guy could troubleshoot an unfamiliar system so easily and that you go the parts to me so quickly. Great product and great service. Keep up the good work. I’ll be putting in another one when I rework my heating system on the first floor.

Miura would be my first choice

To anyone considering the purchase of a Miura steam boiler,
We have been operating the same Miura LX-50 steam boiler in support of a manufacturing process since March of 1996. Its compact size, energy efficiency, rapid pressure build and ease of operation were a perfect fit for our highly variable process needs, and continue to be so today. Following Miura’s simple directions, we feed the boiler with clean, soft water and as much condensate return as we are able to. We perform daily full blowdowns and automatic surface blow-offs to control solids buildup, follow the advice of a reputable water treatment group to control for corrosion and perform the routine water testing and boiler maintenance and inspection tasks outlined in the owner’s manual. We also perform annual combustion tune-ups and tear-downs of the boiler for state-required internal inspection. Typically that annual inspection, from the start of tear down to the return to full steam takes less than three hours with only a couple people.

Halverson Brothers installed (3) HTP Mod Con 850 Boilers at our school which were supplied and supported by Hot Water Products, Inc. We replaced old, non-condensing boilers and the payback was approximately 1-year or less! The fuel savings from just three months, that’s one heating season, paid for the cost of the Mod Con boilers and installation!
