“As vice president of HWP and AMS it is an exciting and rewarding experience to help provide growth-focused strategy and planning as I strive to be the best leader I can be every day. We have enjoyed steady growth and I’m proud to say that we expanded into a building 6-times the size of our last in 2015! I also believe that good leadership means that I wear many hats and pitch in anywhere I’m needed--from day to day operational activities to helping our delivery team on tough deliveries, coordinating large shipments to stuffing envelopes and, last but not least and not a favorite, unplugging a toilet.

During my off time from HWP/AMS my wife and I spend our time chasing five kids around. They are active in football, basketball, wrestling, baseball, trap shooting and, last but not least, a little ballerina who dances 5-6 days a week, year round! On the weekends, when I’m not working or working at my wife’s clinic (cheap, shameless plug for the Schmidt Vet Clinic in West Bend, WI) I can usually be found at home working on my honey-do list but after that’s done I enjoy the outdoors doing things like wrestling in the pool with the kids. We usually make it out fishing and hunting once or twice a year. We recently bought a dog so we can go bird hunting when we have time. I also enjoy going to the gym five days a week at 5am. It’s a great way to start the day.”
