The Mod Con is a highly efficient modulating condensing boiler that operates with up to a 98% thermal efficiency rating. It is constructed with 316L stainless steel to last longer and provide better heat transfer capabilities. It also features a modulating burner with up to a 5 to 1 turndown ratio.
A Low Mass Boiler with a High Efficiency
The Mod Con has up to a 98% thermal efficiency with up to a 5 to 1 turndown. Older gas furnaces may only be using as little as 60% of energy consumed. Heating is the largest energy expense in most homes accounting for 35-50% of annual energy bills in colder parts of the world. With the Mod Con, up to 98% of the dollar spent on heating is properly used to heat the building. That is real savings! It's high grade Inconel burner and 316L stainless steel modulating burner allows this unit to provide adequate heating while saving energy and money. The Mod Con is a dual flame sensing unit with reliable spark ignition. It has a heating capacity of up to 6,800,000 Btuh!
